About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products to customers and perform general store team-member duties. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

Drivers deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. They need to use navigation skills to find addresses and travel across varied terrain, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites. The position also involves carrying products while walking and climbing, and may require navigating five or more flights of stairs.

General store duties include operating equipment; stocking ingredients and supplies; preparing products; receiving and processing telephone orders; taking inventory and completing paperwork; and cleaning equipment and the facility. Work involves customer and co-worker communication, order entry, handling money, and working in a fast-paced environment with changing temperatures and other physical and environmental conditions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to perform the physical demands described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and continuous hand use.
• Far vision and night vision for driving.
• Ability to carry deliveries while walking and climbing, including navigating five or more flights of stairs when required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Navigate to customer addresses, including across adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
• Carry pizzas and beverages between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations; walk and climb as needed during deliveries.
• Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas to storage and work areas.
• Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers, process orders, and handle monetary change.
