About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring a delivery driver to deliver orders within a designated area while also performing general store team-member duties. Drivers deliver products by car to customers’ doors and may deliver flyers and door hangers. The role includes customer and coworker communication, order processing, food preparation, stocking, inventory, cleaning, and use of store equipment. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement within the company, including management and franchise ownership.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and five or more flights of stairs, while carrying products.
Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, including making correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Have the motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately, and be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Be able to meet the physical demands described, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, climbing, and repeated reaching and bending.
Be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area; a driver may make several deliveries per shift.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to delivery addresses, including private homes and other sites, and carry products while walking or climbing stairs.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by telephone to process orders.
