About The Position
MBR Management, a locally owned Domino’s franchise, is hiring a reliable and enthusiastic Delivery Driver in Taylorville. The driver delivers products to customers along assigned routes, providing professional customer service and representing the organization. The role involves using GPS and route-planning tools, verifying addresses, collecting payments when applicable, maintaining delivery records, inspecting and keeping the vehicle clean, and communicating with dispatch and management. Drivers must follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies, and handle products carefully. Flexible hours may include evenings and weekends as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
- At least 2 years of verifiable driving history.
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check meeting company-specific standards.
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery operations.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and mobile technology.
- Physical capability to lift, carry, and load packages safely.
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
- Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Clean driving record and commitment to safe driving practices.
- Willingness to pass a criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers within assigned routes and territories.
- Use GPS technology and route planning to optimize delivery schedules and minimize travel time.
- Provide professional customer service, answer questions, and address customer concerns.
- Verify delivery addresses, collect payments when applicable, and maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
- Inspect vehicle condition daily, perform routine maintenance checks, and promptly report mechanical issues.
- Handle packages and products carefully so they arrive in excellent condition.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and organized.
- Communicate with dispatch and management about delivery status, delays, and customer feedback.
- Follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Build positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business and brand loyalty.
