About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers orders within a designated delivery area and is also responsible for general store-team duties. The role requires safe driving, navigating to customer addresses—including across adverse terrain and in multi-story buildings—and providing customer service. Compensation is listed as an average of $12–$22 per hour, including tips and mileage; average pay varies by location, shift, and number of deliveries. Tips and mileage are paid daily, and pay is weekly.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have at least two years of driving history.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps and use navigation apps to locate addresses in the designated delivery area.
Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to understand and provide correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers by telephone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and locate addresses using maps or navigation apps.
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products as needed.
Receive and process telephone orders as needed.
Complete associated paperwork.
Clean designated items daily.
Communicate with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
Provide customer service and service recovery.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen and handle monetary change accurately.
