About The Position

This position involves operating a Commercial Motor Vehicle to transport and deliver food products to customers, with 100% touch freight responsibilities. In addition to driving, you will perform warehouse duties such as loading/unloading trucks, taking inventory, processing product returns, and handling delivery paperwork. The role requires utilizing specialized skills and adhering to commercial driving regulations. You will be responsible for inspecting and ensuring equipment is operable and compliant with all regulatory and company requirements. The work environment includes exposure to freezer, perishable, and grocery warehouse temperatures.

Requirements

Valid CDL Class B.
Current DOT medical card.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must be DOT certified with all qualification requirements.
Valid Department Of Transportation Physical Exam.
Comply with FMCSR/DOT/Company policies and procedures.

Nice To Haves

0-2 years of delivery driving experience preferred.
0-2 years of supporting a large Enterprise Storage environment.

Responsibilities

Delivering food products to customers.
Loading and unloading product (ambient or temperature sensitive) at 3-10 stops per day.
Operating a Commercial Motor Vehicle (semi-truck/eighteen-wheeler/box truck, etc…).
Inspecting, documenting, and ensuring equipment is operable in compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.
Performing warehouse duties including physical labor and administrative tasks when not driving.
Loading/unloading trucks.
Taking inventory.
Processing product returns.
Handling delivery paperwork.
Electronic logging according to Company policy and FMCSA regulations.
