About The Position

Blue Flame Propane, Inc. is hiring a full-time Delivery Driver/Service Technician for its Pewamo location. The position involves safely loading propane trucks and delivering products to customers courteously, promptly, and efficiently. The driver works with Operations to support on-time deliveries and excellent customer service, follows applicable safety programs and laws, and maintains required logs, invoices, and other paperwork. Other duties may be assigned by the Operations Director as needed.

Requirements

• CDL with a Class A or Class B license.
• Clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of applicable state and federal laws.

Nice To Haves

• HazMat endorsement and air-brake qualification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely load propane trucks and distribute products to customers.
• Coordinate with Operations to support schedules, on-time deliveries, and excellent customer service, including delivering the correct products and quantities.
• Follow safety programs, including HazMat and DOT requirements and certifications.
• Address driver-related problems promptly and professionally with the supervisor.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with customers, drivers, and other employees.
• Maintain required driver logs, invoices, and additional paperwork in accordance with company processes and operating procedures.
• Use proper lifting codes and state destinations when needed.
• Understand applicable state and federal laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Director.
