About The Position

Upper Lakes Foods is hiring a full-time, onsite Delivery Driver CDL-A in Northfield, Minnesota. The role delivers food products—including meat, produce, and frozen goods—to customers throughout the Upper Midwest. The driver operates a tractor trailer and manually unloads deliveries using a two-wheeled hand cart and metal truck ramps. The position involves maintaining delivery schedules, providing customer service at each delivery site, and complying with Department of Transportation regulations. Final candidates must successfully complete a background check, motor vehicle record check, pre-employment lift evaluation, and DOT drug screening before starting. Employment offers are conditional on satisfactory results.

Requirements

Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
At least one year of driving experience is preferred.
Ability to safely transport products using a two-wheeled hand cart; the weight of all products can be up to 500 pounds.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 60 pounds.
Ability to work in diverse weather conditions.
Strong communication skills for interacting with customers.
Commitment to safety, teamwork, and integrity.
Successfully complete a background check, motor vehicle record check, pre-employment lift evaluation, and pre-employment DOT drug screening.
