About The Position

Gordon Food Service is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver to deliver food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and other customers. The driver builds customer relationships while completing local routes and is home every day. The role involves unloading cases weighing up to 100 pounds and using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout the shift. Newly licensed drivers are encouraged to apply. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with start times between 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. Drivers work until their route is finished. Drivers average $60,000–$80,000 per year, with a guaranteed minimum of $1,100 per week. Compensation includes daily base pay and component pay for every mile driven, stop made, and case delivered.

Requirements

At least 21 years of age.
Class A CDL license at hire.
Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds.
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds throughout the shift.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English for job-related tasks and instructions.
Successfully pass a drug test, including testing for marijuana, and a background check.
Clean driving record as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards.
Registration with the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and electronic consent.
