About The Position

National DCP, LLC (NDCP) is hiring a Delivery Assistant in West Lebanon, New Hampshire. The position assists a driver with unloading and delivering products to Dunkin’ stores. Products are separated into freezer, cooler, dry, and chemical categories, and must be placed in the appropriate store delivery areas. The role uses electric and manual pallet jacks and two-wheel hand trucks, and includes frequent lifting, repeated climbing in and out of the tractor and trailers, and safe operation of vehicle lift gates. The schedule is Wednesday through Saturday. The listed hourly pay is $22.65.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior food, restaurant, or warehouse experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver with unloading and delivering products into Dunkin’ stores using an electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack, and/or two-wheel hand truck.
• Identify products on the delivery truck under the various lighting conditions found in trailers or delivery trucks.
• Learn product descriptions and box types to support accurate delivery at each location.
• Place stock in the appropriate freezer, cooler, and dry delivery zones in each store.
• Lift boxes and bags of varying sizes and weights frequently throughout the workday.
• Divert traffic and guide the driver through parking lots to support safe backing into store parking and delivery areas.
• Navigate busy parking lots and intersections while moving products with a two-wheel hand truck or electric or manual pallet jack.
• Climb in and out of the tractor and trailers repeatedly throughout the day.
• Safely operate the side and rear lift gates on delivery vehicles.
• Assist the driver with other requests within safety guidelines and company policy.
• Meet applicable FMCSA requirements for assessed English proficiency.
