About The Position
As a Delivery & Set Up Driver, you will safely and efficiently relocate and deliver office equipment, helping provide a positive customer experience. The role includes basic customer training and networking installations, coordination with field technicians and dispatch, and accurate completion of delivery paperwork. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered to new Ricoh team members.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Safe driving record and at least two years of medium-duty truck driving experience.
- On-the-job technical training in networking and installation.
- Valid driver's license and eligibility to drive commercial vehicles under FMCSR regulations.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with smart devices and basic computer skills.
- Certification in the operation and use of warehouse equipment.
- Ability to read maps and navigate using electronic GPS systems.
Responsibilities
- Safely deliver equipment to designated locations while adhering to DOT regulations.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip reviews to ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness.
- Use efficient pickup and delivery practices to minimize costs.
- Provide basic training and networking installations for customers.
- Collaborate with field technicians, dispatch, and other team members to support smooth operations and timely issue resolution.
- Accurately complete and timely process delivery documentation and customer signatures, maintaining thorough transaction records.
