Delivery and Set up Driver
About The Position
As a Delivery & Set Up Driver, you will help deliver a positive customer experience by safely and efficiently relocating and delivering office equipment. Your professionalism and attention to detail support customer satisfaction and future purchasing decisions. You will also provide basic training and networking installations to help customers transition to their equipment, working with field technicians and dispatch to support smooth operations and resolve issues. The role is onsite in Richmond, Virginia, and pays $18.32–$24.38 per hour. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered to new Ricoh team members.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Safe driving record.
- At least two years of medium-duty truck driving experience.
- On-the-job technical training in networking and installation.
- Valid driver's license and eligibility to drive commercial vehicles under FMCSR regulations.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with smart devices and basic computer skills.
- Certification in the operation and use of warehouse equipment.
- Ability to read maps and navigate using electronic GPS systems.
Responsibilities
- Safely deliver equipment to designated locations while adhering to DOT regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip reviews to ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness.
- Use efficient pickup and delivery practices to minimize costs.
- Provide basic training and networking installations for customers.
- Collaborate with field technicians, dispatch, and other team members to support smooth operations and timely issue resolution.
- Accurately complete and timely process delivery documentation, customer signatures, and other paperwork, maintaining thorough transaction records.
