Deli Clerk (Full Time, 5:00am-1:30pm)

Requirements
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Regularly required to stand for long periods; walk; frequently use of hands; hands to finger; and handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close and color vision.
- Positive "can-do" attitude.
- Treat others with respect.
- Easily adjust to changes in the workplace.

Responsibilities
- Prepares Deli/Prepared Foods department for store opening and closing.
- Assists customers with product selection, shares product knowledge, and makes recommendations based on customer needs.
- Prepares, cuts, wraps, weighs, tares, prices, and presents Deli/Prepared Foods products.
- Stocks and maintains Deli/Prepared Foods cases and stations.
- Processes customers’ made-to-order and special order items accurately and expeditiously.
- Assists with food preparation and production.
- Stocks, rotates, and faces products with attention to product quality and expiration dates.
- Receives and unloads merchandise; checks quality, count, and condition. Communicates any issues to management and/or the merchandising team.
