About The Position

The Deletion Clerk, Fleet Services does research and reconciliation of proactive exception reports as well as routinely working exception queues for Retail and Fleet Sales to resolve irregularities and remove obstacles to facilitate timely vehicle disposal and cash application of rental units offered for sale. Conduct daily coordination with internal and external customers to resolve inquiries associated with Cash payments and missing paperwork. Become the subject matter expert on exception resolution.

Requirements

• High School Graduate
• Customer service, Data entry, DMV experience and/or knowledge of DMV policies/procedures helpful.
• Basic telephone skills used in a professional environment to provide exceptional customer service to all customers is required.
• A working knowledge of the following computer applications/programs: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Wizard (Avis/Budget application), Title Tracking (Avis/Budget application), Internet

Responsibilities

• Responsible for contributing to the success of the Fleet Services Department daily by performing multiple tasks designed to achieve timely disposal of fleet rental vehicle assets as they are offered for sale or turnback to manufacturers.
• This associate regularly conducts critical communications with Avis Managers at national, regional and local levels to ensure deletion/marshalling of all manufacturers’ vehicles.
• Within Field Administration, this associate coordinates with associates and managers at all levels to request corrective action necessary to achieve task completion.
• Perform other related tasks as determined by assigned Supervisors and Lead Coordinators, such as training other associates to perform these same functions
• Daily and weekly proactive exception reports
• Daily research, identification and application of cash received by check, wire or Credit card for car sales
• Daily Deposit Live checks and resolution of exceptions
• Manage and clear Avis Car Sales deletion cash exceptions and communicate status to management and field representatives
• Process Fleet turnback condition report receivables.
• Coordinate with Avis Car sales Locations to add trade in vehicles into active fleet in wizard.
• Other duties as required
