DEI Coordinator - Internal Applicants Only
About The Position
Our Company has been on its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) journey for six years, but we want to continue to grow and improve on making this an inclusive space for all Merrick employees. For this reason, we put together a committee of employees in 2022 – the DEI Coordinators – to focus on determining and furthering DEI initiatives. Since its founding, this committee has led several successful projects to further its mission, including the creation of our DEI statement, putting together a DEI 101 training course, implementing monthly DEI Celebrations, and more! We are excited to announce that we are searching for one new member to add to our DEI Coordinators team! The new DEI Coordinator will serve as a part of our team beginning August 2026. We are looking for current employees that would bring a new perspective to our team and assist in future DEI projects.
Requirements
- Current employee
- Bring a new perspective to the team
- Assist in future DEI projects
- Submit application on BambooHR by Wednesday, August 5th
- Answer each application question with plenty of detail
- Participate in a round table discussion
Responsibilities
- Regularly attend weekly meetings each Thursday, 2pm – 3pm, at 3210 Labore Road.
- Work on projects.
- Offer input and new ideas.
- Generate interest in our efforts to create a more diverse and inclusive workplace.
- Increase participation in company activities.
- Create opportunities and pathways for personal and professional growth.
- Make our workplace better for all employees.
