About The Position

The Deep Cleaner is responsible for deep cleaning kitchen equipment and facilities at Rock & Brews at Indigo Sky Casino. The role uses supplied chemicals to clean kitchen equipment and surfaces, identifies needed repairs and informs management, and performs other cleaning duties assigned by upper management. The employee must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily and follow additional instructions from their supervisor. The position is full-time and works the graveyard shift; nights, weekends, and holidays may be required as needed.

The job requires knowledge of cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment. Familiarity with floor-care products and equipment is helpful. The employee must be able to obtain and maintain an Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma gaming license and hold Serve Safe certification.

The work takes place in casino operations, where employees may encounter secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The casino maintains an alcohol- and drug-free workplace.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment.
• Above-average oral communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Problem-solving capability.
• High capacity for learning.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma gaming license.
• Serve Safe certification.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for 7 1/2 hours per day.
• Dexterity to hold and manipulate products or machinery.
• Ability to work in hot and cold temperature extremes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push or pull a flatbed cart weighing up to 300 pounds.
• Ability to stretch, bend, kneel, twist, and reach.
• Ability to taste, feel, smell, see, and walk, and to read, write, and speak basic English.
• Ability and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deep clean kitchen equipment and kitchen facilities.
• Clean ovens, fryers, vent hoods, char broilers, griddles, cheese melters, salamanders, rotisseries, smokers, kettles, tilt skillets, ranges, steamers, coolers, floors, and walls.
• Use the proper supplied chemicals to maintain cleaning standards.
• Inform management of needed repairs.
• Perform other cleaning assignments and duties requested by upper management or the supervisor.
• Respond to customer questions and complaints as needed.
