About The Position

NEXT Logistics, LLC is the private fleet for Nelson-Jameson, Inc., a fourth-generation, family-owned distributor serving the food industry since 1947. We operate as a "Golden Rule" company, prioritizing honesty, integrity, and a culture that respects our drivers. This Dedicated Regional CDL Driver position offers a consistent, dependable route with home time on weekends. You will be assigned your own dedicated, late-model tractor and paid per hub mile. The role involves on-time delivery to customers and branch locations, efficient vendor pick-ups, safe loading of orders, professional handling of various goods, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Requirements

1+ year(s) of semi-driving experience.
Valid Class A CDL.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency with weight scales, forklifts, and pallet jacks.

Nice To Haves

HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements (assistance available for obtaining these).

Responsibilities

On-time delivery to customers and branch locations via dedicated freight routes.
Efficiently collecting stock from suppliers as needed.
Staging and loading orders to optimize route efficiency.
Professional handling of hazardous, perishable, and freezable goods.
Maintaining accurate logs, mileage reports, and bills of lading.
