About The Position

As a Dedicated Operations Manager for A. Duie Pyle, you will manage a customer account, hire drivers, and develop a full-service solution. The Dedicated Division provides customers with a regional truckload alternative within the Northeast to help them meet supply chain goals. The position includes coordinating customer operations, maintaining an onsite presence at customer locations, and working cross-functionally to service and grow the account. Requirements

• Experience with load planning and driver management.
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Ability to be on call during driver work hours.
• Understanding and knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to represent the company positively and professionally.
• Strong organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous transportation management experience in a dedicated environment.
• Knowledge of TMW and PeopleNet.
• P+L responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage scheduling for a dedicated customer.
• Be available and on call for Pyle drivers and customer needs.
• Build dynamic routes using the company's routing software and learn the system as needed.
• Optimize the schedule daily or as needed.
• Maintain an onsite presence at customer locations and build strong relationships.
• Partner with sales and customer service to schedule deliveries.
• Work cross-functionally within Pyle to service the account and grow the business.
• Manage the customer account, hire drivers, and develop a full-service solution.
