Position Summary We're seeking a detail-oriented Deburring Technician who takes pride in delivering flawless finished products. At Addison Precision Manufacturing, the final touch makes all the difference. You'll work with high-precision components for aerospace, medical, and advanced manufacturing industries where surface finish quality is critical. This role is perfect for someone who combines skilled hands with a keen eye for detail.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED Required; Trade/Vocational certificate in precision machining a plus!
  • 1+ years’ experience in deburring or finishing operations.
  • Experience in aerospace parts finishing a plus!
  • Ability to solve problems, think analytically and critically.
  • Experience using hand tools and deburring equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
  • Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Reliable and consistent work ethic.
  • Knowledge of measurement instruments.
  • Experience using manual and electric hand tools and machines.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Trade/Vocational certificate in precision machining
  • Experience in aerospace parts finishing

Responsibilities

  • Perform precision deburring operations on machined components including filing, sanding, deburring, cleaning, grinding, masking and polishing parts in accordance with standards set by Addison Precision Manufacturing and the customer.
  • Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections using various hand tools and equipment
  • Inspect parts for compliance with customer specifications.
  • Use precision measuring instruments to verify part quality.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of work completed.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Follow safety protocols and proper PPE requirements.
  • Handle delicate and high-value components with care.
  • Report any quality concerns to supervision.
