About The Position
Syndeo is seeking a skilled Deburr Operator for a local aircraft component manufacturing company. This is a direct-hire opportunity with both 1st and 2nd shift positions available. The company offers a competitive compensation package and excellent benefits.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
- Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds and maintain reliable attendance.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Deburr experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Grinds, sands, blends, buffs and at times polish parts that have been routed, milled, sawed, tabbed or blanked to ensure parts have an acceptable finish for the next process.
- Follow work instructions that describe any special tasks that may need completed such as removing tabs or special polish needs.
- Use air power hand tools such as 90 degree sanders, palm sanders, tabbers as well as manual burr knives and files.
- Run parts through the automated time save burring machine.
- Use calipers and scales to measure any critical dimension that must be maintained related to measuring thickness and finish.
