About The Position

Credit Control is seeking professional debt collectors to join our team in our Tampa, Florida office. We are a well-established, successful, and compliant collection agency with clients including the nation's most significant financial institutions. Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Exceptional negotiation skills and customer service.
• Typing and general computer skills
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

• At least two years of debt collections, sales, or telemarketing experience.
• Knowledge of the FDCPA and other debt collection regulations.
• 2 years of experience as a Debt Collection Agent.
• 2 years of Call center experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect on past due accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain accurate records of collection activities.
• Adhere to all FDCPA and other debt collection regulations.
