About The Position

Berkshire Residential Investments is hiring a Debt Asset Management Intern for its 12-week Summer Internship Program. The internship provides practical experience in real estate investment through hands-on projects and real-life situations, mentorship, professional networking, and opportunities to learn from industry leaders. Interns participate in panel discussions, meet with senior leaders, tour properties, and take part in a volunteering event. At the end of the summer, the intern will prepare and present to Berkshire’s Senior Leadership Team about a project or key task, insights gained during the internship, and recommended process enhancements.

The intern will support the Asset Management Team with quarterly asset and portfolio reviews, asset and portfolio modeling, quarterly reporting, market and property-subsector research, and ad hoc projects and reports using Real Insight in coordination with the Data Team. The role is in person from June to mid-August, approximately 12 weeks, with a schedule of 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Be a current student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field, with an anticipated graduation date in 2028.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, or similar programs.
• Available to work in person from June to mid-August, approximately 12 weeks, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
• Ability to present findings to senior leadership.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of quarterly asset reviews and portfolio management reviews.
• Work with the Data Team on ad hoc projects and reports in Real Insight for the Asset Management Team.
• Assist with asset and portfolio modeling and quarterly reporting.
• Research select markets and property subsectors.
• Prepare and deliver a presentation to Berkshire’s Senior Leadership Team summarizing a project or key task, internship insights, and recommended process enhancements.
