The Dean of English, Social and Behavioral Sciences, reporting to the Vice President of Academic Affairs, will provide visionary leadership for teaching and learning, overseeing instruction and student support services in Anthropology, English, English as a Second Language, Ethnic Studies/Gender Studies, History, Philosophy/Religious Studies, Political Science/Economics, Psychology, and Sociology. This role may involve day, evening, and weekend programs, on-campus and off-site, and includes responsibility for college-wide functions and grant management.
