About The Position

Ken Garff Mercedes, a Ken Garff Automotive Dealership, is seeking a Dealership Warranty Admin Clerk/Internal Service Advisor who aligns with the company’s core values of respect, intelligence, greatness, honesty, and teamwork. The role processes warranty claims and supports internal vehicles moving through the shop by maintaining professional relationships with technicians and the sales department, communicating about needed repairs, and obtaining approval. The position also includes related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and demonstrated trustworthiness.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Advanced computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience as a warranty clerk or similar experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process warranty claims.
• Verify criteria required by the factory or distributor.
• Post credits on the computer.
• Track parts by tagging them.
• Arrange for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor, or to be scrapped.
• Follow up with the factory and distributors regarding unpaid claims.
• Maintain professional relationships with internal technicians and the sales department to help get internal cars through the shop.
• Communicate about all needed repairs and obtain approval.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
