About The Position

Dealer Specialties is hiring a Dealership Lot Service Representative for a remote, traveling, field-based route position. The representative travels to car dealerships to capture photos and videos for dealership websites and print buyer’s guides for vehicle windows. The role involves independent work and requires reliable personal transportation. The position is temp-to-hire and pays approximately $18–$20 per hour, with compensation affected by factors such as route, market, and experience. Mileage reimbursement, a tablet, and a printer are provided. Regular full-time employees may be eligible for additional benefits, including possible commissions. The role offers a flexible work schedule and on-the-job training. Work is outdoors year-round and may involve varied weather, including cold winter conditions and very hot summer temperatures. There are no late evenings or Sundays.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a good driving history.
Ability to learn to drive a manual transmission.
Ability to work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions, including cold winter temperatures and very hot summer temperatures.
Reliable personal transportation.
Good time-management and communication skills.

Professional experience in automotive customer service, route service, rideshare, automotive inspection, lot porter work, auto detailing, car washing, service writing, or vehicle inspection.
