About The Position

Dealership Accounting Coordinator I at Lithia & Driveway's Suburban Accounting Processing Center (ACP) in Troy, MI. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.   • Previous automotive dealership accounting experience
  • High School graduate or equivalent required
  • 18 years or older

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years in a dealership environment or experience processing car deals is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process daily check and credit card deposits and assist with reconciling the cash sales accounting schedule.
  • Review car deals for accuracy and completeness using the Deal Checklist before submission to the Accounting Processing Center.
  • Maintain notes on missing or incorrect items in the Booked and Pending report and support compliance tracking.
  • Scan documents into the Digital Deal Jacket and review IRS Form 8300s for accuracy.
  • Collaborate with store teams and Business Managers to implement process changes and ensure revenue recognition.
  • Assist with maintaining reconciled accounting schedules as assigned by the Business Manager.
  • Learn the Title & Registration Specialist role to support other accounting functions when needed.
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in all assigned tasks.
