About The Position

Dealership Accounting Coordinator I at Lithia & Driveway's Suburban Troy Accounting Processing Center (ACP) in Troy, MI. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM position. Previous automotive dealership accounting experience
High School graduate or equivalent required
18 years or older

Nice To Haves

1+ years in a dealership environment or experience processing car deals is preferred.

Responsibilities

Process daily check and credit card deposits and assist with reconciling the cash sales accounting schedule.
Review car deals for accuracy and completeness using the Deal Checklist before submission to the Accounting Processing Center.
Maintain notes on missing or incorrect items in the Booked and Pending report and support compliance tracking.
Scan documents into the Digital Deal Jacket and review IRS Form 8300s for accuracy.
Collaborate with store teams and Business Managers to implement process changes and ensure revenue recognition.
Assist with maintaining reconciled accounting schedules as assigned by the Business Manager.
Learn the Title & Registration Specialist role to support other accounting functions when needed.
Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in all assigned tasks.
