About The Position

The Dealer Sales Analyst is a developmental position designed to provide insight into the diverse business acumen of an automotive Original Equipment Manufacturer (OE) and its role in guiding retail outlets (Dealers). The successful candidate will support operational needs to strengthen the Acura brand through new vehicle programs, vehicle allocation, reporting, and communication to the dealer network. This individual will serve as the primary contact for dealer communications, lead KPI reporting, provide support to Zone Management, and handle administrative functions. The role involves continuous improvement, analyzing current business trends, supporting national dealer logistics and allocation, and preparing presentations for various meetings including Program, Brand Communication, and Field Staff meetings. The position offers opportunities for growth and knowledge acquisition within a transforming industry.

Requirements

  • Completed post-secondary education specializing in Business or Automotive or equivalent experience
  • Intermediate PC skills with working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Ability to travel on occasion within Canada
  • Hold a valid Driver’s License
  • Must be results-oriented
  • Develops and maintains good working relationships within Honda Canada as well as all other internal and external stakeholders
  • Several years’ experience in the automotive field, or an equivalent experience in logistics, distribution, analytics
  • Knowledge of Acura products and current industry conditions

Responsibilities

  • Support operational needs to strengthen and support the Acura brand in the area of new vehicle programs and vehicle allocation, reporting and communication to the dealer network
  • Lead in producing KPI reporting
  • Provide support to Zone Management
  • Perform administrative functions in the office as required
  • Develop and report on key business metrics
  • Support the national dealer network in the area of logistics and allocation
  • Build supporting slides for Program meetings, Brand Communication meetings and Field Staff meetings
