Dealer Casino Games And Supervisor Dual Rate - Part Time (Tropicana Atlantic City)
About The Position
This role involves a dual function: performing duties as a Dealer for assigned games and overseeing operations as a Supervisor for a specific area. As a Dealer, you will conduct games according to policies, exchange cash for chips, control game pace, and provide friendly, engaging service. As a Supervisor, you will ensure compliance with gaming regulations, supervise Table Games staff, verify transactions, maintain awareness of game activity, settle disputes, and motivate dealers to provide superior customer service. Employees will be evaluated for suitability in this dual-rate function and may perform special assignments. The pay rate is $6.05/$27.50 Per Hour.
Requirements
- Table Games dealing experience with direct dealing experience of the games contained in assigned pit required.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledge of casino rules, procedures, and regulations as applied to the game(s) under supervision.
- Excellent supervisory, verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Strong supervisory skills and must possess demonstrated leadership ability among peers.
- Diverse, fast-paced, deadline driven, multi-project coordination, prioritizing and flexing to accommodate last minute requests and changes.
- CER License is Required
Responsibilities
- Performs duties to deal assigned games and conducts assigned game according to established policies and procedures.
- Exchanges cash for gaming chips according to procedure.
- Controls the pace of the game and informs the Supervisor Casino Games of any request or unusual play.
- Provides proactive friendly and engaging service at assigned gaming table.
- Oversees the operations of assigned area, ensuring compliance with gaming regulations, internal controls and departmental policies and procedures.
- Supervise the Table Games staff within assigned area and ensure proper procedure is followed by all Dealers under their supervision while ensuring the integrity of the game.
- Verifies all gaming table transactions in supervised area.
- Maintains awareness of activity on games in area of supervision; settles disputes that may arise, escalating issues when appropriate.
- Verifies issuance of credit after completion of all authorization procedures.
- Motivates dealers to provide superior customer service while also taking responsibility for following dealing procedures and keeping proper game pace.
- Directly responsible for customer service objectives.
- Employees will be evaluated periodically to determine suitability to continue in dual-rate function.
- May perform special assignments for upper management as requested.
