This dual-rate position involves functioning as both a Dealer and a Supervisor for Poker Casino Games. When acting as a Dealer, the employee will perform duties to deal assigned games according to established policies and procedures, exchange cash for gaming chips, control the pace of the game, and inform the Poker Supervisor of any requests or unusual play. This role requires providing proactive, friendly, and engaging service at the assigned gaming table. When functioning as a Supervisor, the employee will oversee the operations of the assigned area, ensuring compliance with gaming regulations, internal controls, and departmental policies. This includes supervising Poker Games staff, ensuring proper procedure is followed by all Dealers, and maintaining the integrity of the game. The Supervisor will verify all gaming table transactions, maintain awareness of activity on games in the area, settle disputes, and escalate issues when appropriate. They will also verify the issuance of credit after all authorization procedures are completed. The role requires motivating dealers to provide superior customer service while adhering to dealing procedures and maintaining proper game pace. The employee will be directly responsible for customer service objectives and will be evaluated periodically for suitability in the dual-rate function. Special assignments for upper management may also be requested.
