Dealer Casino Games And Supervisor Dual Rate - Part Time (Tropicana Atlantic City)
About The Position
This dual-rate position involves functioning both as a Dealer for assigned casino games and as a Supervisor overseeing operations within an assigned area. As a Dealer, you will perform duties to deal assigned games according to established policies and procedures, exchange cash for gaming chips, control the pace of the game, and provide friendly and engaging service. When functioning as a Supervisor, you will oversee the operations of your assigned area, ensuring compliance with gaming regulations and departmental policies. You will supervise Table Games staff, verify gaming table transactions, maintain awareness of game activity, settle disputes, and motivate dealers to provide superior customer service. Employees will be evaluated periodically to determine suitability for the dual-rate function and may perform special assignments for upper management as requested.
Requirements
- Must be able to deal assigned games and conduct assigned game according to established policies and procedures.
- Must be able to exchange cash for gaming chips according to procedure.
- Must be able to control the pace of the game and inform the Supervisor Casino Games of any request or unusual play.
- Must be able to provide proactive friendly and engaging service at assigned gaming table.
- Must be able to oversee the operations of assigned area, ensuring compliance with gaming regulations, internal controls and departmental policies and procedures.
- Must be able to supervise the Table Games staff within assigned area and ensure proper procedure is followed by all Dealers under their supervision while ensuring the integrity of the game.
- Must be able to verify all gaming table transactions in supervised area.
- Must be able to maintain awareness of activity on games in area of supervision; settle disputes that may arise, escalating issues when appropriate.
- Must be able to verify issuance of credit after completion of all authorization procedures.
- Must be able to motivate dealers to provide superior customer service while also taking responsibility for following dealing procedures and keeping proper game pace.
- Must be directly responsible for customer service objectives.
- Employees will be evaluated periodically to determine suitability to continue in dual-rate function.
- May perform special assignments for upper management as requested.
