About The Position

As a Deal Desk Senior Manager, you will be tasked with owning the structuring, pricing, and execution of complex deals across the organization as a senior individual contributor and trusted commercial advisor. You will sit at the intersection of Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations — driving deal velocity while protecting margin and ensuring compliance. In this role, you will serve as the primary escalation point for high-value and strategic opportunities, engaging directly with customers and cross-functional partners to deliver commercially sound outcomes.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Finance, or a related commercial role, with deep expertise in complex deal structuring within SaaS or enterprise software environments
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606) and financial deal modeling
  • Hands-on experience with CRM and CPQ tools (Salesforce, Salesforce CPQ/Revenue Cloud, etc.) and comfort leveraging AI tools to improve deal analysis and surface commercial insights
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior Sales leadership at the VP and C-suite level, with strong influencing skills and the ability to drive alignment without direct authority
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority deals simultaneously under tight deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end structuring of complex, non-standard deals including custom pricing, multi-year arrangements, bundling, and volume-based constructs, while applying and enforcing discount frameworks, approval thresholds, and pricing guidelines
  • Act as a strategic partner to Sales leadership and serve as the primary escalation point for high-value opportunities, providing real-time deal guidance to accelerate pipeline and close rates
  • Collaborate with Finance on deal economics and revenue recognition (ASC 606), partner with Legal on contract negotiations and risk assessment, and provide deal-driven feedback to the Pricing Team on market dynamics and competitive pressures
  • Identify inefficiencies in the deal review and approval cycle, drive scalable solutions, and support CPQ and systems optimization in partnership with Sales Ops and IT
  • Track and analyze deal metrics including cycle time, discount trends, ASP, and win/loss patterns, and deliver actionable insights to Sales and Finance leadership to inform commercial strategy
