Join Our Team as a DC Training Associate - Safety Expert At Ferguson Enterprises, we are looking for a highly motivated person to join our world-class team as a DC Training Associate - Safety Specialist. This outstanding role enables you to help ensure the safety and well-being of our associates while supporting our mission to build better infrastructure, homes, and businesses.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in safety training within a distribution center or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other safety standards.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to strictly adhere to and enforce safety policies.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and departments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and provide thorough safety training programs for new and current associates.
  • Conduct regular safety audits to identify potential hazards and determine corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with various departments to successfully implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of training sessions and safety incidents.
  • Track and review the efficiency of safety training programs and deliver recommendations for refinement.
  • Serve as a safety advocate, promoting a culture of safety awareness and safety guidelines.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and train new associates
