Daycare Toddler Teacher
About The Position
Primrose School of West Orange is hiring a Daycare Toddler Teacher at 555 Northfield Avenue, West Orange, NJ 07952. The teacher will provide nurturing care and help children build foundational skills, while creating joyful learning experiences using the school’s digital learning platform and Balanced Learning curriculum. The role includes building trusted relationships with families and supporting children’s social, emotional, and individual learning needs. The school describes its environment as joyful and welcoming, with high-quality facilities focused on health and safety, an on-site leadership team invested in employee growth, and engaged franchise owners. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The hourly pay range is $18.00 to $25.00, based on education and relevant experience.
Requirements
- One year of experience is required.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for nurturing and educating young children.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree or CDA in Infant and Toddler Development preferred.
Responsibilities
- Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for preschool-aged children.
