About The Position
The Daycare Team Lead at Creative Kids is responsible for promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, with classroom instruction making up at least 50% of the weekly schedule. The Team Lead builds relationships with families, supports children’s achievement, and helps the center succeed. The Team Lead is responsible for or assists with managing, training, and mentoring new hires and fellow teachers, and creates interactive learning experiences for preschool children. In the Director’s or Assistant Director’s absence, the Team Lead takes on their duties, including opening and closing the school. The role ensures children receive daily care in accordance with licensing guidelines and company standards.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
- Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
Nice To Haves
- College credits toward an Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree, or a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
