About The Position

The Daycare Team Lead at Creative Kids promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children while leading classroom management and curriculum implementation. Classroom instruction makes up at least 50% of the weekly schedule. The role also builds relationships with families, supports and mentors teachers and new hires, and may take on Director or Assistant Director duties in their absence, including opening and closing the school. The Team Lead ensures children receive daily care in accordance with licensing guidelines and company standards.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Nice To Haves

• College credits toward an Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree, or a Child Development Associate (CDA).

Responsibilities

• Communicate and build relationships with families to support children's achievement and the center's success.
• Manage, train, and mentor new hires and fellow teachers, or assist with those duties.
• Create fun, interactive learning experiences for preschool children.
• Perform Director or Assistant Director duties in their absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Ensure children's daily care follows licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
