About The Position
The Housekeeping Aide supports the childcare center by maintaining a clean, safe, organized environment where children can learn and grow. The role includes cleaning the building, classrooms, and playground; completing janitorial tasks; cleaning and maintaining equipment and facilities; and helping with seasonal decorations and displays.
Requirements
- Be comfortable working around children.
- Be willing to learn and grow in a team environment.
- Meet state education requirements and the center/school requirements.
Responsibilities
- Keep the building, classrooms, and playground clean, safe, and orderly.
- Complete janitorial tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, and cleaning restrooms.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Assist with cleaning school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls.
- Clean restrooms and refill dispensers.
- Assist with putting up and removing seasonal decorations and displays throughout the year.
