About The Position

As an Assistant Teacher, you’ll play a essential role in helping young children learn, grow, and thrive in a warm, encouraging, and safe environment. Working alongside our Lead Teachers, you’ll help bring creative lesson plans to life, build strong partnerships with families, and foster a supportive space where every child feels seen and valued. The ideal candidate is fun, engaging, welcoming, nurturing, early/punctual, reliable, takes being a role model seriously, leads by example, is creative and innovative, and can thrive in a loud, disordered environment. They should also have the ability to have challenging conversations, such as those required to communicate with parents, or to mediate conflict amongst peers (including willingness to speak up).
