About The Position
The Daycare Housekeeper helps maintain the organization, cleanliness, health, and safety of the childcare center so children can learn and grow in a safe environment. The role includes janitorial work throughout the building, classrooms, playground, and restrooms; cleaning school equipment and furnishings; restocking restroom dispensers; and assisting with seasonal decorations and displays. The position is with Tutor Time on Baseline Ave.
Requirements
- Be comfortable working around children.
- Be willing to learn and grow in a team environment.
- Meet state education requirements and the center/school requirements.
Responsibilities
- Keep the building, classrooms, and playground clean, safe, and orderly.
- Complete janitorial tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows and restrooms, and gathering and emptying trash.
- Assist with cleaning school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls.
- Clean restrooms and refill dispensers.
- Assist with putting up and removing seasonal decorations and displays.
