About The Position
Housekeeping Aides support the success of the childcare center by maintaining an organized, clean, and safe environment where children can learn and grow. The role includes cleaning and maintaining the building, classrooms, and playground, as well as assisting with seasonal decorations and displays.
Requirements
- Be comfortable working around children.
- Be willing to learn and grow in a team environment.
- Meet state education requirements and the center/school requirements.
Responsibilities
- Keep the building, classrooms, and playground clean, safe, and orderly.
- Perform janitorial tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, and cleaning restrooms.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Clean school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls.
- Clean restrooms and refill dispensers.
- Help put up and remove seasonal decorations and displays throughout the year.
