About The Position
Primrose School of Bedminster is hiring an entry-level Daycare Assistant Teacher to help provide nurturing care and support young children’s learning and development. The role involves building trusted relationships with families and creating joyful learning experiences using the school’s digital platform and Balanced Learning curriculum. Training is provided, and prior experience is not required. The position is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with no nights or weekends.
Requirements
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for nurturing and educating young children.
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Support a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for children.
- Assist with age-appropriate lesson plans provided by the school.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe learning space.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Support children’s individual learning needs and encourage their social and emotional growth.
