About The Position

As a member of the Warehouse team, the Day Warehouse Associate helps deliver products to customers by safely and efficiently picking and loading orders for next-day delivery. The position builds orders for dock routes according to invoices, loads route trucks using computerized schematics, inspects and operates warehouse equipment, and helps maintain a safe and clean work area. The role requires the ability to drive stand-up forklift equipment and to handle beverage alcohol products responsibly.

The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Friday, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour, and the posting offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus and full benefits within 30 days of hire. Requirements

• Must be able to drive stand-up forklift equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written English instructions.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
• Professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Ability to carry and lift up to 65 pounds for extended periods.
• Ability to reach frequently, with intermittent overhead reaching; stand and walk for extended periods; and squat and/or bend frequently.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Previous warehouse experience and/or training, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build orders for dock routes accurately and on time according to invoices, using case picking or the bottle line.
• Load route trucks with product according to computerized schematics.
• Inspect assigned warehouse equipment daily and report deficiencies.
• Safely operate material-handling equipment as needed, including forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, keg fork dock stockers, slip-sheet lifts, de-layer equipment, clamp trucks, double pallet jacks, and floor scrubbers.
• Safely and properly handle shipments and product replenishment.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance duties and report unsafe work-area conditions.
• Handle beverage alcohol products responsibly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
