About The Position
Work Unlimited is hiring a Day Support Activities Specialist for its growing Day Support Activities (DSA) Program in Salem, Oregon. The program provides support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and challenging behavioral needs. It focuses on building daily living and social skills, creating meaningful community-based experiences, supporting independence and personal growth, and encouraging choice, routine, and engagement. The specialist supports individuals in developing daily living, social, and community engagement skills. The role includes facilitating structured activities in the community and at program sites, encouraging independence while providing appropriate support, modeling positive behavior and communication, assisting with personal care, maintaining a safe and supportive environment, and collaborating with team members to implement individualized support plans.
