About The Position

Work Unlimited is hiring a Day Support Activities (DSA) Specialist in Salem, Oregon. The DSA Program supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and challenging behavioral needs by building daily living and social skills, creating meaningful community-based experiences, supporting independence and personal growth, and encouraging choice, routine, and engagement. The role involves facilitating structured activities at program sites and in the community, helping individuals develop skills and engage with their communities, and providing person-centered support in a safe and supportive environment.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in developing daily living, social, and community engagement skills.
• Facilitate structured activities in the community and at program sites.
• Encourage independence while providing appropriate levels of support.
• Model positive behavior, communication, and problem-solving.
• Assist with personal care and maintain a safe, supportive environment.
• Collaborate with team members to implement individualized support plans.
