About The Position

LOT Commercial Property Services is hiring a full-time Day Porter at a commercial property at 8110 Mira Mesa Blvd., San Diego, CA 92126. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with pay of $18.25 per hour, paid weekly. The role keeps the property clean, welcoming, and ready for business, and includes regular property walks, reporting maintenance needs, and providing friendly customer service. The position involves outdoor activity and being on your feet throughout the shift. Employment offers are contingent on passing a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and a physical endurance test relevant to the job requirements.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication in English or Spanish.
• Regular familiarity with a mobile device, such as a cell phone or tablet, for timekeeping and document review.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Physically active and comfortable being on their feet outdoors.
• Able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, and pull.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Able to regularly walk stairs and large properties.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and job-relevant physical endurance test.

Responsibilities

• Keep the property clean and presentable throughout the day.
• Pick up trash and empty receptacles.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and wipe down surfaces.
• Clean restrooms and high-traffic areas.
• Clean exterior doors, windows, and windowsills.
• Remove debris such as stickers, gum, spills, and graffiti.
• Walk the property regularly to inspect cleanliness.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to a supervisor.
• Always use required safety equipment.
• Provide friendly customer service.
