Requirements

• Provide excellent level of customer service to both internal and external customers by maintaining a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of Blood Borne Pathogens (BBP) and ways to protect against exposure, including best practices to avoid cross-contamination.
• Knowledge of hazardous materials and proper handling procedures.
• Employees working in medical facilities are required to wear a mask and gloves during the entirety of their shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks up to Kleen Standards.
• Scope of work is provided to outline required duties and frequency per room in assigned building.
• Able to perform terminal cleanings in any room inside of a hospital: operating rooms, exam rooms, patient rooms.
• Thorough understanding and performance of the operating room cleaning procedure.
• Work under EHS safety policies and procedures (i.e. when using cleaning chemicals, medical cleaning, reporting incidents, etc.).
• Perform general cleaning duties like dusting, mopping, sweeping, trash and recycling removal, window cleaning and deep cleaning restrooms.
• Maintain health requirements in compliance including medical exams and immunizations when required.
