About The Position

ABM is seeking a reliable and experienced Janitorial Cleaner to perform a variety of cleaning duties at Wilmington University’s Brandywine Campus. The role helps maintain a clean, safe, orderly, and sanitary environment for employees, clients, and visitors. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, at a pay rate of $15 per hour. A specific offer may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data. Requirements

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Understanding and speaking English is required.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and maintain hygiene standards.
Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste according to company policies.
Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
Maintain and properly store cleaning equipment and supplies.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and supply shortages to the supervisor.
Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
Follow safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
