About The Position

Join us as a Principal Datacenter Account Executive (Product Specialist) on our Outside Sales team, supporting key U.S. Air Force accounts, to do the best work of your career and make a profound impact on the Air Force mission. As an Outside Sales Product Specialist focused on U.S. Air Force accounts, you will proactively identify and solve customer mission and business needs by providing subject matter expertise and creating solutions using Dell’s CSG/ISG portfolio and services.

Requirements

  • Active U.S. DoD TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) eligibility and any additional accesses required by U.S. Air Force programs
  • 2 + years of relevant experience in solution / relationship selling to U.S. Federal customers, with a strong track record supporting the U.S. Air Force and its acquisition programs
  • Advanced knowledge of datacenter and edge infrastructure (servers, storage, networking, cloud, and/or cyber) and how these technologies support complex Air Force mission and weapons systems
  • Excellent understanding of solution configuration and integration in mission, weapons system, or test environments, and the ability to translate technical architectures into clear business and mission value
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to brief senior military, government civilians, and industry leadership, and coordinate across internal support and leadership teams

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience selling into U.S. Air Force weapons platforms, test and evaluation organizations, or enterprise IT programs, including familiarity with USAF acquisition processes and decision cycles
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline) – or a minimum of 10 years of directly relevant customer sales/ solutions engineering experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow strategic relationships with U.S. Air Force program offices, operational units, and senior technical decision makers across enterprise IT and mission systems
  • Demonstrate the value of Dell’s datacenter, edge, and cloud solutions (compute, storage, networking, cyber, and emerging AI/ML) to advance Air Force mission, weapons system, and test/enterprise IT objectives
  • Provide insight and thought leadership on how Dell technologies can support weapons platforms, C2/ISR systems, test and evaluation, and modernization of legacy environments
  • Act as the primary technical and commercial resource for the sales organization on U.S. Air Force opportunities, collaborating closely with account teams, solution architects, and strategic partners
  • Drive territory planning, pipeline development, and capture strategies that align with U.S. Air Force acquisition methods and pathways (e.g., FAR‑based contracts, OTAs, IDIQs, GWACs, and other USAF-specific vehicles)
