About The Position

The Database Report Writer supports data-informed decision-making across the organization by developing, maintaining, and optimizing reports from electronic health record (EHR) systems and other data sources. The role collaborates with teams across the organization to provide accurate, timely, and actionable reporting in support of the organization’s mission to Inspire Hope and Promote Wellness, particularly in rural communities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least three years of experience using SQL to query complex relational databases and validate reporting results.
• Ability to determine the level of effort needed to accomplish requested tasks.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to the organization’s challenges and reporting needs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Organization, responsiveness, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Initiative and interest in improving processes and reporting efficiency.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least three years of experience with various computer software and Enterprise Health Record applications preferred.
• At least three years of experience using Crystal Reports preferred.
• Enjoy translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Thrive in a mission-driven, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, generate, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Design and build ad hoc reports to meet evolving organizational needs.
• Modify, test, and enhance existing reports to ensure accuracy and usability.
• Deploy reports and support end users with reporting needs.
• Partner with the Director of Data Reporting Services on projects and initiatives.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
