About The Position

The Database Engineer designs, builds, administers, and improves the data platforms supporting Clover Sonoma’s dairy manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, finance, sales, and reporting operations. The role designs, builds, and supports enterprise data pipelines from SAP S/4HANA in SAP RISE through SAP HANA Cloud and into an AWS Data Lake, implementing a Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medallion Architecture to deliver governed, reliable, Power BI-ready datasets. The Database Engineer works with IT, business leaders, application owners, implementation partners, and data and analytics teams to translate operational needs into durable technical solutions. The position also supports master data integrity, production support, reporting accuracy, and business continuity in a time-sensitive food manufacturing and distribution environment. The role operates primarily in an office while supporting systems used in active dairy manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution facilities. Occasional entry into production, cold-storage, warehouse, loading, or yard areas is required, subject to applicable safety, food-safety, sanitation, security, and personal protective equipment rules. Work outside normal business hours may be required for critical incidents, maintenance windows, upgrades, or implementations.
