About The Position

The Database Engineer designs, builds, administers, and improves data platforms that support Clover Sonoma's dairy manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, finance, sales, and reporting operations. The role designs, builds, and supports enterprise data pipelines from SAP S/4HANA in SAP RISE through SAP HANA Cloud and into an AWS Data Lake, implementing a Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medallion Architecture to deliver governed, reliable, Power BI-ready datasets. Working with IT, business leaders, application owners, implementation partners, and data and analytics teams, the Database Engineer turns operational needs into durable technical solutions. The position also strengthens master data integrity, production support, reporting accuracy, and business continuity in a time-sensitive food manufacturing and distribution environment. The role operates primarily in an office and regularly supports systems used in active dairy manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution facilities. Occasional work in production, cold-storage, warehouse, loading, or yard areas is possible and requires compliance with safety, food-safety, sanitation, security, and personal protective equipment rules. Work outside normal business hours may be needed for critical incidents, maintenance windows, upgrades, or implementations.
